Wellbeing Meetings
The Wellbeing Department offers 30-minute confidential one-to-one meetings. This is a supportive and private space where you can discuss any mental health and wellbeing concerns. We are here to provide the best possible support and help you make the most of your time at IBS Training and Development Center.
Disability Support
How do you access support?
If you need academic adjustments or extra support, you will need to provide medical evidence or a formal report. In most cases medical evidence will be a letter from your doctor (General Practitioner or GP), or other appropriate health care professional. If you are unsure of what evidence to provide you can email us at [email protected] for further advice.
What support is available?
Support at IBS Training and Development Center is flexible and tailored to individual needs. We will discuss your requirements on a case-by-case basis to determine the best options for you. Additionally, we have partnerships with third-party providers who can arrange note-takers, one-to-one support, and other forms of assistance as needed.

Engagement and Development

Drop-in sessions
If you're facing challenges, it's important to know you don't have to struggle alone. We offer drop-in sessions to provide support and assistance. These confidential sessions are announced via email and in classrooms on campus. They occur quarterly, based on availability. For urgent matters, you can also book one-to-one meetings with the Wellbeing Department as an alternative.

Workshops
We offer a variety of workshops, group sessions, and events aimed at enhancing your wellbeing and developing essential skills. These sessions will help with topics such as stress management and building resilience. Keep an eye out for announcements and make the most of these opportunities to support your personal and academic growth.

Events and networking
At IBS Training and Development Center, we aim to provide a holistic learning experience. Engaging in events and networking opportunities will foster significant growth and enable meaningful interactions with your classmates and advisors.
